2. Information We Collect
Account information: Email address, display name, and authentication tokens when you sign up via email, Apple ID, or Google.
Outfit photos: Photos you submit for scoring, stored to maintain your score history and deliver results. These photos are sent to Google Gemini, a generative AI service, for analysis — see Section 4. Because you are wearing the outfit being scored, a photo may incidentally include your face; we do not collect or derive face data from it — see Section 5.
Age range: The age bracket you select during onboarding. If you indicate you are under 18, we automatically restrict the analysis to age-appropriate styling commentary.
Score data: Your outfit scores, style axis breakdowns, archetypes, and history.
Style preferences: Quiz answers, language settings, and in-app preferences you configure.
Usage analytics: Feature interactions and session data used to improve the product.
Purchase data: Subscription status received from Apple via RevenueCat. We do not store payment card information.
3. How We Use Your Information
To generate AI outfit scores and personalized style recommendations
To maintain your score history, streak, and progress data
To personalize the app experience based on your preferences
To verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features
To send service-related communications (not unsolicited marketing)
To improve the app using aggregated, de-identified usage data. We do not train AI models on your photos, and the third-party model we use does not train on data submitted through its paid API.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Gemini (Google AI): Your outfit photo is transmitted to Google's Gemini generative AI model, which analyses it and returns your score and written feedback. This is how the core feature works — no scoring is possible without it. The photo is sent for inference only; Google does not use data submitted through the paid Gemini API to train its models. 5. Face Data
Dripmax does not collect, derive, generate, store, or share face data. We do not perform facial recognition or face detection. We do not create or retain faceprints, facial geometry, facial landmarks, face templates, face embeddings, or any other biometric identifier. We do not use any image to identify, authenticate, verify, or match a person, and we do not attempt to infer age, gender, ethnicity, emotion, or any other characteristic from a person's face.
Why a face may appear in a photo
Dripmax scores an outfit, and you are wearing the outfit when you photograph it. A photo you submit may therefore incidentally include your face. That is a consequence of photographing clothing on a body — it is not a feature, and nothing in the app looks for a face or acts on one.
What the photo is used for
The image is analysed only for clothing, colour, proportion, fit, and styling. The analysis is instructed never to describe, rate, or comment on a person's face, body, weight, skin, attractiveness, or perceived identity, and the app contains no face-detection or biometric software of any kind.
What we keep
The analysis returns a numeric score from 0 to 100, four style-axis scores, and written coaching about garments and styling. No data derived from a face is produced, stored, or shared at any point. Your submitted photo is stored so that you can see your own history.
Where photos are stored, and for how long
Photos are stored in Google Firebase Storage in the European Union (Berlin region). During analysis, the image is transmitted to Google's Gemini API for inference only; Google does not use data submitted through the paid Gemini API to train its models. Photos are not shared with any other third party, and are never sold, rented, or used for advertising.
Photos are retained while your account is active and are deleted when you delete your account, in-app via Profile → Account → Delete Account or by request via https://www.dripmaxapp.com/support. Deletion removes the stored image files as well as the associated score records. Accounts created without signing in (guest accounts) are deleted automatically, together with their photos, 30 days after creation.
6. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information or photos to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers listed above, solely to operate the service, under strict data processing agreements.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data:

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
8. Your Privacy Rights
GDPR (EU/EEA): Right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing.
CCPA (California): Right to know what data we collect, right to delete, and right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data).

9. Children's Privacy
Dripmax is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Users aged 13–17 may use Dripmax. During onboarding we ask for your age range, and if you indicate you are under 18 we automatically place the analysis in a restricted mode: commentary is limited to garments, colour and styling fundamentals, and all romance-coded styling framings are disabled. This restriction is applied on our servers from your stated age and does not rely on the AI's assessment of your photo.
10. Security
We use TLS/HTTPS for data transmission and Firebase security rules for data access. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
